Bird control service performed in Flint today when a customer found a starling in their fireplace. Once we removed the bird by hand we place the starling in a live trap to safely relocate the animal without harm. After an inspection of the fireplace and chimney we found the home had no chimney cap to prevent wildlife from dropping down the chimney stack. We measured the opening of the fireplace exhaust and installed the proper Chimney cap to prevent further invasion of wildlife pests.
